TEF Vintage Brass Wall Sconce by Tranberg
An original vintage brass wall sconce marked with “TEF IP65”. This reclaimed brass explosion-proof wall light was manufactured by Tranberg, a Norwegian company renowned for producing high-quality marine and industrial lighting solutions. Tranberg’s products are known for their durability and reliability, especially for use in demanding environments. Characterized with a brass construction, protective cage, and tempered glass these features are typical of explosion-proof lights intended for hazardous locations, ensuring safety and resilience. These wall sconces were built for use in marine and industrial settings where explosion-proof fixtures are essential. The brass construction not only provides corrosion resistance but also adds a timeless aesthetic, making such fixtures popular for both functional and decorative applications today. This brass cage light was designed with an IP65 rating, which means it was waterproof, however due to the lamps age, we cannot guarantee the IP rating today. We would advise if you would like to use them outdoors to let us know and we can lacquer them.
We restore these lights with new electrical components which comply with CE certification. For the USA we send light fixtures fitted with UL listed components and lamp holders. Dimensions and weight is approximate.
