Something’s Gotta Give examines the increasing presence of technology in everyday life and the unease it provokes. Our dependence on tools such as artificial intelligence and digital devices continues to grow, even as anxieties about the future and our place as humans within it intensify. Social roles and expectations are shifting, and the addition of powerful new technologies only heightens that tension. The exhibition invites viewers to pause in this moment of acceleration, to consider how innovation changes identity, community, and the very idea of a shared future. Featuring Works from Rose Braun, David Tycho, Etienne Gelinas and Norah Borden, whose works all touch upon differing aspects of this change, and our interactions with said change.
Come Join us for the Opening Reception on October 9th at SOPA Fine Arts (2934 Pandosy Street)
